Heinz — Wake Up & Rebel

For over a century, the American Breakfast scene has been completely molded by advertising. Big Breakfast and its outdated standards are forcing people into a strict breakfast routine. For only one meal of the day, we’ve been trained to adhere to a very specific formula.

Heinz Jalapeño Ketchup is here to spice up the morning by inspiring people to eat whatever fuels them. Through a series of social media posts and out-of-home ads, we’re rallying people to join our breakfast rebellion. Despite Big Breakfast's attempts to silence us,  we were still able to get our message through — encouraging people to wake up and rebel by starting their day with Heinz Jalapeño Ketchup.

The campaign launched on social, where Heinz’s new posts appeared to have been blocked….

A link in the caption took followers to a secret account, where Heinz could post their new content freely, without the surveillance of Big Breakfast.

On the secret account, followers found anonymous interviews from disgruntled Big Breakfast employees, speaking out against the unrealistic breakfast standards.

Heinz opened their eyes to a whole new lifestyle.

We put up out of home ads to encourage people to switch up their breakfast routine with jalapeño ketchup, but Big Breakfast ripped them down.

Our message was still there, though, if you look closely.

We used our free will and posted the originals to social.

As a last resort, Big Breakfast started leaving us ransom notes.

They left them next to our ketchup in stores, but it only increased sales.
